Have you ever been shopping for any type of electronic device in a retail store/online and become overwhelmed at the number of choices available?  This assignment will hopefully provide you with some tips to consider when shopping to make your next visit easier!

In this lesson, students will compare multiple types of computers and operating systems to gain a better understanding of each type and the approximate costs that users should expect to pay.  Students will analyze optional features that are available on certain devices.  Additionally, students will also examine specific case study scenarios to determine which type of operating system (OS) is the best choice in certain situations based on factors such as price, functionality, and determining a Want vs Need when it comes to deciding if an option available is work the cost.
